Historic Mexican Navy Ship Strikes Brooklyn Bridge, 2 Killed

Two crew members from a historic Mexican Navy training ship were killed after the ship lost power Saturday and struck New York City's Brooklyn Bridge. No damage to the bridge has been reported. This is the second time in the past two years that a major bridge has been struck after a ship loses power causing injuries and deaths. On March 26 last year, The Dali, a container ship, struck Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge after losing power.

Tragic.

According to some reports I've seen the ship was supposed to turn around and head back out to sea but they lost power and drifted into the bridge.
