New Federal Hiring Process Will Require a Loyalty Oath

When the Trump administration begins hiring next month, it will prioritize what it calls "patriots."

"No modern presidential administration has undertaken such an effort to staff the entire government with political loyalists," Erwin Chemerinsky and Catherine Fisk write.

An oath not towards the Constitution but to Donald Trump.

This is not as bad as it gets, but pretty close.

There's a definite Hitlerian flavor to it.

The Hitler stench becomes complete when Trump makes members of the Armed Forces swear a personal oath to him.

If another change in government is permitted by GOP/MAGA without having to resort to organized violence, everyone one of these people who swore such a crass oath need to be fired and bared from public service permanently.

Trump must've learned a lot of the "history" he thinks he knows from the reprehensible Roy Cohn, as locked into the fringe thinking of the 1950s-1970s era as he gives every sign of being. That most (perhaps even the totality) of what the guy "knows" can be readily classified as patently boolshee apparently matters not at all to so many Americans is telling.

This creates a Conflict of Interest with the sworn Oath of Office.
Right, Republicans?

So it's just like oath Chinese have to take to the CCP. You have to take it in order to get a publicly funded job, but it doesn't really mean anything.
