'Wake up, America, this is a serious moment'

Democracy Docket: Masked and armed federal agents made arrests outside a press conference that Gov. Gavin Newsom was giving to announce plans to redraw California's congressional map to offset the GOP's unprecedented mid-term redistricting plans in Texas. "Right outside, at this exact moment, are dozens and dozens of ICE agents," Newsom said. "You think it's coincidental? Donald Trump and his minions decided, coincidentally or not, that this was a location to advance ICE arrests."

Newson is right"ICE at his event was no coincidence. Trump and the governor have traded barbs for years now, and it only looks to be ratcheting up even further now."

Just wait until ICE fully staffs up with 18-year-olds who want to wear a mask and carry a gun, and then is deployed to start ~patrolling~ voting stations on Election Day.

Harris was Vice President so she became the nominee but Republicans beware the Dems will have a strong candidate in 2028 even if Dictator Wannabe Trump tries to run again; I almost hope he does because I'd love to see him totally rejected and humiliated; his only way to avoid that fate is to die while still in office which would actually improve his popularity.

If you watch Newsom's pressers, its about saving Democracy and defeating Trump. He hopes the Nov4th special election goes his way.
My guess is he sees this as his step into the national spotlight for 2028 run. Saving the country.
Its the same ole cliche's Lumpers have been using for as long as I have been in the US.

The sad thing is he can't help California. He's literally done nothing since being in office.

Its a beautiful State being ravaged. +600,000 people left the State in 2024.
