Nancy Pelosi is retiring.

Those who believe in liberty and dignity must "never give in to the forces arrayed against the things we hold dearest," Nancy Pelosi argues. "And as I soon begin my final year in Congress, I believe as fervently as ever that this must be our path forward."

Never understood the knee-jerk hostility some self-proclaimed libs have had with Nancy.

She was one of the most effective Speakers of the House Dems have had, passing pretty much every major initiative under Obama.

Everything was held up by the Dem Senate refusing to throw out the filibuster when they had the chance (when they had the majority).

100% agree.
She was absolutely incredible in her role and in what she acheieved.
Her record on bring to a vote and winning is unmatched by any Speaker in our history.

I respect her morality and integrity.

"If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?" Anton Chigurh, No Country for Old Men.

Her auspicious early career achievements withstanding, Nancy became part of the the 21st century Democrat party rule, and as such she became partially responsible for helping Trump get elected, not once, but twice. She ended up undermining Trump's first impeachment inquiry by rushing through the process and prioritizing politics and maintaining power over deliberate fact-finding and patiently presenting a compelling case to not only skeptical Republicans, but to the American people. That will be her legacy.

Yeah, because no one realized that Trump was a lying POS pervert. As he pardons rapists, pals around with Epstein, admitted on video to sexually assaulting women, lied about cheating on his pregnant wife with a corn star, intruded on underage girls in their dressing room, etc. Yes, Nancy Pelosi is to blame for the willful ignorance of the GOP.

"Why did Nancy Pelosi not stop this!"

The 300 lb sack of Putin's ------ thought it was hilarious that one of his supporters fractured the skull of Pelosi's husband.

And where do all the roads take the fabulously wealthy Nancy Pelosi?
