A man who was charged with throwing a sandwich at a federal agent was found not guilty of one count of misdemeanor assault after a jury trial in Washington, D.C.

Absolutely embarrassing for Jeanine Pirro and the DoJ. Complete waste of tax payer resources. Trump supporters wanted a banana republic style government. Well they've got it. I wonder if they are happy with the results.

And when the agent who was hit by the sandwich was testifying, he was asked how he was 'injured', and he said that the sandwich had been thrown hard enough that he felt it hit him through his body armor and that he could smell the onion and mustard.

This week keeps on getting better and better.

The "injured" officer testified the sandwich "exploded" all over him and he could smell the onions and mustard all day long (the horrors) however they offered no proof that it did and the video evidence shows the sandwich falling to the ground still in the wrapper and definitely not exploded.

Shouldn't there be some sort of perjury issue here?

The whole thing is slightly silly, but there does seem to be a liiiiiitle there, there.

If one of us walked out of work every day and someone was there to throw a sandwich at us, I think we'd want something done about it.

In any normal jurisdiction a prole can't touch a cop without an assault charge. This was videoed. Lesson learned, the left wants a justice system that allows "right thinking" persons to get away with assault.
