An NYPD sergeant allegedly made online death threats against two podcasting ex-NYPD cops and their kids, then quit without facing criminal charges. Retired lieutenants John Macari Jr. and Eric Dym broadcast "New York's Finest: Retired & Unfiltered Podcast" which often criticizes NYPD leadership. They reported a series of online threats to Internal Affairs because they suspected that someone in New York's Finest was involved. One of the threats posted: "Hopefully nothing happens to your family. Kids are a precious thing." One post had a photo of a semi-automatic rifle with the message: "ACAW is after your home now. #Stayviligant." The NYPD identified the prime suspect as Sgt. Shawn Mohabir (30) and suspended him without pay. Mohabir, who made a handsome annual salary of $147,114 after only being on the job five years, resigned in March.
This disgraced ex-cop distorted the righteous ACAB acronym into the fascist ACAW message. Shawn Mohabir also threw away a career with outstanding pay, benefits, and a generous retirement plan. So far, no charges have been pressed against this lunatic. The internet is forever so this moron will have a difficult time finding another lucrative career. Years ago, the NYPD Confidential website was the place to go for rumors, gossip, and internal info on the going-ons at One Police Plaza. Sidenote: The NYPD will be contracting with an Israeli security firm to hunt for bomb-making terrorists on the internet: Israeli security again
