Can information be hidden so effectively that it requires weeks of investigation for a recent abduction?

This "new" police design is so global gestapo.

The report appears to be a hoax. The immigration office has no record of Luis Leon having scheduled a visit. The hospital in Guatemala where the family claims he was located has no record of a patient by that name. No last name is being provided for the family member who claims to have located him and says she visited him in the hospital. The family has issued a statement that they will no longer talk to the media.
