As an old guy nearly 80, I can remember the 1950's, when Jim Crow ran those with Black skins off the sidewalks, and made sure only white men were seen in positions of authority. Women were habitually ridiculed in the media.

It appears that from Trump and Stephen Miller's point of view, if a job was given to anyone other than a white male, then it was obviously a DEI hire. Racism to them is giving any sort of consideration whatsoever to anyone who's not white and gender discrimination is giving consideration to a female. And if it's a non-white female, they totally lose their minds.
