US President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order easing regulations for the country's private space industry, including stripping away some environmental restrictions around rocket launches.
Update: We reported in July that Trump was poised to slash regulations protecting the public and the environment during rocket launches by companies like SpaceX. On Wednesday, Trump signed an executive order making it happen.
