Even the Lowly Canister Vacuum Now Wants Wi-Fi Access

Miele still offers over 20 different models of canister vacs in the US, but its latest is the company's first to introduce smart functionality making it yet another appliance that wants access to your home's Wi-Fi network.

The Samsung app demanded everything typical plus gender and even my Google "image", a customizable perspective floor plan and you can even accidentally send "invites" so other people can bake along! Really invasive, imo - Smart Control on this model seems extra-endurance test to get correct. The BT uses the oven to WIFI to validate every use.. FFS.

With AI subversion, requesting Google calendar events to explode the house can be automated to even the hottest summer day, lending not just irony, but plausibility. [Manhattan Transfer sing: "We make the obvious.. HAPPEN!"]
