Protests in Russia have been pretty much fully BANNED since the start of the war with Ukraine, and even before there was barely any freedom to protest. At this point, protesting in Russia has become super risky, and most Westerners now like to say that Russians never protest.
However, out of nowhere, demonstrations have been recently taking place across all of Russia, where Russians protest against the destruction of freedom of speech and communication in the country.
