You know the oil industry is in the renewable industry right? To them is energy. To you its a religion.

The reality is without the subsidies renewables wouldn't happen, the idea of the subsidies was to help the industry get to scale. But the fact is the renewables doesn't seem to be profitable.
Which is of course is completely false all the way around.

Solar power is becoming cheaper than fossil fuels
If this were true then energy companies wouldn't be leaving the industry, why would anyone leave something that is profitable.
And the profit margin is around 20% depending on the size of the project.
