The FBI has urged cybercrime victims to exercise caution when visiting its Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) website, claiming that threat actors have created various spoofed versions. In a public service announcement (PSA) on Friday, the FBI warned of the dangers of visiting a scam or phishing site designed to mimic the IC3 portal for cybercrime reporting.
The worst FBI Director in the history of the US, Kash Patel, took reckless steps this year to drastically weaken the FBI by eliminating the requirement for SAs to have a college education and he halved FBI SA training from a rigorous 16-week academy to a paltry eight-week course, far less training than what US Army enlisted MPs receive. Many experienced FBI SAs were also forced out by the Trump junta. So, Americans can expect more foul-ups from the FBI under the inter-galactically underqualified Patel.
