Here is the behavior of a US "ally" that the hardworking American taxpayer, who lives without universal healthcare unlike Israelis who do, has been subsidizing since 1948. Gaza food aid volunteer Carlos de Barron recounts the humiliation, psychological abuse, aggression, and intimidation that he and the rest of the Samaritans suffered during their three-night detention in a squalid Israeli prison.

IDF troops, like ICE thugs, boarded the vessels with a clear message in English: "Anyone who does not obey our orders will suffer the consequences."

Itamar Ben-Gvir berated poor Greta Thunberg et al: "You are terrorists."

The defenseless volunteers were crammed into a police van in sweltering temperatures for nearly three hours. Then the IDF turned the air conditioning on full blast for five or six hours. The guards laughed at the now freezing detainees and chuckled "poor terrorists."

The IDF denied the Samaritans food or drinking water for more than 12 hours.

After Swedish diplomat Count Folke Bernadotte saved thousands of people during the Holocaust, in 1948 he was repaid for his troubles by being brutally ambushed by rabid Israelis.

But hey, if hardworking American taxpayers want to keep subsidizing this country of zealous ethnic cleansers, so be it. There are only so many pots and pans we can bang on.

If the Democratic Party wants to oust the Republicans from national power, they had better take note that millions of antiwar Samaritans won't be voting for any AIPAC-funded candidate; they will stay home like they did in 1968 and 2024. One AI overview estimates that now 18 million young voters (18-29) won't vote for a candidate that supports the genocide in Gaza or the West Bank. So, oligarch Larry Ellison and his son can control CBS and TikTok, but it won't help their cause.
