@#1 ... as we'd hoped. ...

Is the Trump admin finally admitting that Pres Putin has been playing his sock puppet in the Oval Office?

Peace Prize announcement in 352 days.

He's been resisting even Republican Sens efforts to have him do this since he's been in Office.

It's very little very late.

@#4 ... It's very little very late. ...

Yup.

Not only that, it comes after Pres Trump looked to have basically given the sovereign country of Ukraine to Pres Trump in his prior comments.

So, yeah, these sanctions are too little, too late.

What Pres trump needs to do, if he truly supports Ukraine, is provide the arms to Ukraine that will cause Pres Putin to take notice.

That's the start.

imo, Until that happens, Pres Trump just looks like a sock-puppet of Pres Putin.

Trump was saying at a Presser today that WE needed those Tomahawk missiles, so Ukraine couldn't have them. Presumably we need them to fire on Venezuela and Greenland.

Yeah, he seems to be wavering in his reasons. An indication to me that he may just be making excuses...

Trump shoots down sending Ukraine 'highly complex' Tomahawk missiles: 'Tremendous learning curve'

... President Trump on Wednesday appeared to rule out providing Ukraine with Tomahawk cruise missiles, arguing that the long-range weapons are too complex for Kyiv to deploy without substantial US training.

"The problem with the Tomahawk is -- a lot of people don't know -- It'll take a minimum of six months, usually a year, to learn how to use," Trump told reporters during an Oval Office meeting with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte.

"The only way a Tomahawk is going to be shot is if we shot it," the president added. ...

@#7 ... The problem with the Tomahawk is -- a lot of people don't know ...

Apparently Pres Trump, as well, seems to be among those people who don't know.

So why did he intimate that he would send them if he now seems to admit he is clueless about their deployment?

Presumably we need them to fire on Venezuela and Greenland.

Or sand dunes in Yemen. Shooting down $300 drones with $2 Million SM-2 missiles is good business for Raytheon, but not good for maintaining stockpiles.
