US President Donald Trump arrives in Kuala Lumpur to witness the signing of a "peace deal" between Thailand and Cambodia, who have a long-standing border dispute.

He is on a one-week high stakes trip to Asia that also includes stops in Japan for a meeting with the key US ally's new conservative leader, and South Korea to attend the Asia Pacific Economic Forum (Apec) leaders' summit. The highlight of the trip will be a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on the sidelines of Apec in Gyeongju.

I woke up this morning and my first thought was: "Are we at war with Venezuela yet?"

In Trump's first term, I used to wake up and ask: "Are we at war with North Korea yet?"

Now, Trump "solved" the North Korean issue by establishing a puppy-like, long-distance, and homoerotic relationship with Kim.

Maybe he'll do the same with Maduro.
