The best part? Trump lost it on his "truth" social platform, and the morons at the Reagan Foundation have apparently lost rationality.

The ad uses public domain material, does not misrepresent what Reagan said in any way, and is concise and direct. Too much for Trump and the idiots at the Reagan Foundation to handle.

Here's the complete Reagan address:
www.youtube.com

The BBC did an excellent job of putting the context and timing in, and the specific order of the audio used in their piece www.bbc.com
The BBC doesn't make any judgement about the content, which is a shame because it's obvious that the ad doesn't misrepresent Reagan's position or meaning at all. That should be obvious with the included in the BBC article, but excluded from the ad "final chunk" of Reagan's address where, regarding tariffs, he says he is determined "to spare the American people the protectionist legislation that destroys prosperity".

So thanks, again, Trump (with an assist from the Reagan Foundation), for putting a spotlight on how today's MAGA has nothing in common with Reagan and old GOP conservatism.

MAGA hates Reagan.

He's just a RINO in the fascist world of Trumpism.

At the game, we were chanting "We Don't Need You." 11 to 4 for Canada, at game 1 of the World Series, if you missed it.

American spirit exports to Canada 'plummeted' 85%, says U.S. trade group (October 11, 2025)
www.cbc.ca

... American spirit exports to Canada "plummeted" 85 per cent in the second quarter of 2025, with the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States calling the situation "very troubling" as consumers in key international markets opt for alternatives to U.S.-made products amid trade tensions.

The numbers come as American alcohol largely remains off Canadian shelves and unavailable in bars and restaurants as a response to U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to impose tariffs on Canadian goods in early March.

In a report issued earlier this week, the council said exports to the U.K. and Japan fell 29 per cent and 23 per cent, respectively, but the largest decrease was in Canada. These countries, along with the European Union, accounted for 70 per cent of U.S. spirit exports in 2024. ...
