Trump's Whirlwind Year Changed America

Here are eight ways. He gave tax breaks to the wealthy and cut food stamps and other safety-net programs for the poor, neutered the Department of Education, touched off trade wars with Canada, China and the European Union, and publicly urged the Justice Department to prosecute adversaries like former FBI director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James.

The notion that Donald Trump can direct the DOJ to investigate Jack Smith regardless of whether Smith committed any crime should make everyone in America ill

"Trump's influence on politics is undeniable. The MAGA movement that propelled him to office twice has reshaped the Republican Party.

Trump's re-election last year momentarily deflated Democrats. But just a few months into his second term, his policies re-energized the party's progressive left wing, including the election of Zohran Mamdani, a democratic socialist, as New York City mayor in November."

He's also losing voters faster than you can say, "Jeffrey Epstein"!

It seems many don't remember his first term in office when you speak of whirlwind. Voters were emotionally weary of all the crap he pulled. A scarecrow could have won the voters. All Biden basically had to do is just not be Turnip. It was chaos and his second term will be no different. I suspect it will be worse given that he now knows how things work in the swamp and how to get around the laws or bend and stretch them to no end.

By the time the courts catch up to what he's done, he's already destroyed or altered near beyond recognition what ever he went after. SCOTUS giving him a free pass through the shadow docket has just embolden him. It will take decades to return the nation to some semblance of order. I say that not leaning towards either party, just achieving a workable arm of government.

In typical form, budgets are cut beyond the bone, resulting in branches not being able to function at their task. Right after that it is claimed to be broken and needs private enterprise to operate it. That never works out as the private enterprise always takes it's cut from the top, leaving it worse off than before the budget cutting started.

It appears that the word "whirlwind" was a bit too much for Trump's limited intellect. By the end of 2005 it appears that he has totally lost his mind.

The question is: When is somebody going to throw a net over this fruitcake?
