'Medical Condition' Forces Early End to NASA Space Mission

Nasa has said it will return a four-person crew aboard the International Space Station (ISS), cutting short their mission a month early because of a "serious medical condition" affecting one of the astronauts.

fwiw, I was scheduled for an operation back in November (nothing serious).

Then I got an email telling me that the operation had to be re-scheduled because the surgeon ~went on unexpected medical leave.~

Stuff happens.
