These companies should be forced to extensively reveal internal communications and accounting showing how much costs they passed on to consumers before getting a cent in refunds from the government and the refunds, if granted, should match any provable losses.

I'll be f*&^ed if these companies get to profit from increased prices only to then unscrupulously double dip and demand a "refund" from the government.

At the very least every one of the companies receiving a refund should be data based along with the amount asked for, the amount received and any financials related to revenue and profits over the last year or so. If we can't prevent our cuck government grifters from allowing this one two punch of wealth extraction from the populace we should at least be able to set ourselves up to ruin these a**holes with boycotts and lawsuits.
