DOJ Drops Case Against Flag Burning US Army Veteran

The Justice Department moved to dismiss charges against US Army veteran Jan Carey who set an American flag on fire across the street from the White House following an executive order seeking to crack down on flag burning.

US Park Police arrested Jan "Jay" Carey in August 2025 after he set "Old Glory" ablaze in Lafayette Square on the same day Dummkopf Trumpf signed an executive order against burning the flag. He pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanors -- igniting a fire in an undesignated area and lighting a fire causing damage to property or park resources -- brought by the office of Jeanine Pirro, the incompetent US Attorney for the District of Columbia.

Carey was not charged with flag burning as an executive order is not a law.

Combat veteran Jan Carey served in the US Army for 22 years and was awarded the Bronze Star; meanwhile the now morbidly obese pedophilic Dummkopf Trumpf dodged the draft during the Vietnam War.
