In the run-up to the 2016 Democratic Party convention, FBI Director James Comey gained access to at least eight thumb drives containing large volumes of former Secretary Hillary Clinton's sensitive State Department emails " as well as some from President Obama " that appeared to have been compromised by foreign hackers. Instead of investigating the explosive new batch of evidence revealed in recently declassified documents, Comey rushed ahead to close an investigation into whether Clinton improperly transmitted and received classified material from a private, unsecured server she kept in her basement. Comey also took the extraordinary step of bypassing the attorney general and personally exonerating Clinton of wrongdoing during an unusual press conference on July 5, 2016. Just hours later, Obama invited Clinton " who would be formally nominated as the Democrats' standard bearer three weeks later " aboard Air Force One to help launch her multicity campaign tour
TWO BROOKLYN MARKETERS pleaded guilty Thursday to conspiring to defraud Medicaid in a $68 million kickback scheme tied to adult day care and home health services that were billed but not provided, according to a U.S. Department of Justice press release. Prosecutors said the scheme ran from 2017 through 2024 and involved laundering proceeds through shell entities to fund kickbacks. The guilty pair agreed to forfeit about $1 million. They each face up to 10 years in prison
I am but one in a sea of many Americans viewed as a threat to the established order. I was once a part of that order. I helped build it. It would turn out I couldn't survive because I couldn't follow the rules of thought and speech that are mandated by everyone on the Left, especially those at the New York Times. It's personal, you see. I used to believe that if all I did was read Page One of the New York Times, I'd be well-informed. Brainwashed is more like it.
Diversity-training programs purport to teach participants how to be better colleagues to people from different backgrounds and to eliminate unconscious bias and make workplaces more welcoming. But in too many places, these trainings"and the broader DEI structures of which they are part"have instead mandated ideological conformity, enforced with the leverage every employer holds over its workers
A federal officer has shot a man in the leg in the US city of Minneapolis after being attacked with a shovel as he tried to make an arrest, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) says. In a statement on X, the DHS said Wednesday's shooting happened after a car chase involving a Venezuelan national who was in the country illegally. It ended in a crash and the driver was joined by two more people who all attacked the officer, it said. DHS said the man who was shot was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Be careful, Twoothy, or I'll make you cry, again.
