Wilson Goode Sr. has called on the city of Philadelphia -- in an op-ed published by the Guardian -- to issue a formal apology Wednesday, the 35th anniversary of the day his administration dropped a bomb on a group of citizens. On Nov. 11, 2014, a Navy captain and technician were on a routine daytime patrol mission flying north along the Chilean coast, west of Santiago, and filmed an unidentified flying object. They tried to communicate with it, but when they got no response they reported the sighting to nearby radar stations. Radar couldn't pick up the UFO even though it detected the Navy chopper. The Chilean government agency CEFAA, which investigates UFO sightings, spent two years looking into the incident. A group of military experts and other professions couldn't reach a conclusion about what the object was. They're stumped. read more

The Green Beret veteran at the center of the plot, former Sgt. 1st Class Jordan Goudreau, appeared to be shopping around for investors to back the paramilitary mission using a patchwork of documents, which included a wish list of military gear, including several aircraft, armored vehicles, hundreds of M4 carbines, PVS-14 night vision goggles, ballistic plates and helmets, several hydraulic breaching tools, ketamine and morphine. read more
