For example: Lots and lots of workers used to get Pensions.
In the 80s, pensions started going away and workers began getting 401(K)s.
That move saved companies money, but didn't really do much for the average worker.
It was a watershed moment for how Americans prepare for retirement.
Is that "on" any generation?

Another thing that changed around that time: Union membership. Republicans killed unions pretty good in the 80s. Is that on any generation, or is that just on Republicans?
