Visiting Cali last July sitting in jacuzzi north of LA what looked like a giant sperm appeared moving along southward above the horizon to the northwest.... oh that's a spacex launch the noticeably blase local companions explained.... happens all the time.... thought is was pretty awesome as the first launch I had seen live since Apollo 11.... the stage separation was clearly seen... made the evening...
