"Merrick Garland Gave us Trump 2.0"

With 20/20 hindsight, there's no doubt that Garland made a bad decision. It would appear to the jaundiced eye of suspicion that he decided it was more important to protect the reputations of a vast (and global) myriad of VIPs who, financially or ~ otherwise ~ (if you get my drift) profited from their association with Epstein.

I cannot say with any certainty that I think the decision was his alone. I can only surmise that the level of intense VIP pressure from outside forces could have been, right or wrong, a contributing factor.

Therefore, I'm not so quick to condemn.

I'm guessing that by now any Grand Jury is sick to death of Trump.

Sounds like Trump is reaching the end of his rope.

I say, let the ICC do its thing.

What we need NOW, in our own country, in November, is a mega-tsunami Blue Wave in all three branches of government and a thorough housecleaning leading to Impeachments (including the U.S. Supreme Court, if necessary) and charges against the rest of Trump's cabinet for aiding and abetting Trump's war crimes.

Let's just get the whole stinking dumpster of criminal Constitution violating mobsters out of our hair and, hopefully, in prison.

The way a few State Governors are starting to get up on their hind legs combined with Trump's free-wheeling the National Guards, it seems likely to happen eventually ~~ or maybe even intentionally as a precursor to Martial Law.

I also have to wonder what would happen if a State National Guard (called in by the Governor) came into conflict with a National Guard unit that the Feds ordered in from another state?

Which leads me to ask, "Since ICE doesn't recognize any law except their own, PLUS they don't have any sense of honor, nor do they have anything resembling a moral compass, how are these "Restrictions" going to be enforced?

I'm questioning the milquetoast use of the word "Restrictions." It sounds very iffy to be of real value.

It seems as though the word "affordability" is having a positive impact on voters elsewhere. Everybody has been a victim of higher prices.

Surely, Texas isn't immune from the impact while Republicans running the show.

As an aside (not related to the Kennedy Center) The Pantone Color Institute has just unveiled its Color of the Year Award and it's not Orange.
