It would be the only way to be sure.

Until Republicans can provide reasonable evidence of significant voter fraud, nobody should care what you think. At this point you people are working on nothing but dog whistle speculation. You're trying to shove through a supposed solution to a non existent problem.
You'll keep lying about your intent. But really, you're just trying to make voting more difficult, hoping it helps MAGA maintain control.
Around social media, Trumpers are attempting to make the argument that he can unilaterally get away with changes to election laws for "Federal elections". I think an argument can be made that there is no such thing as a Federal election. Senators and Representatives of each State are chosen by the citizens of those respective States. For example, an eligible voter in Texas cannot vote on a US Senate race in Wyoming, therefor making it a State election to chose a Federal representative. In fact, unless we eliminate the Electoral Collage, even the POTUS is not determined by a Federal election. It is decided by series of state elections which determine how Electoral votes will be allocated. Constitutionally the POTUS does not have the powers to regulate ANY elections. (No Kings?) I hope the SCOTUS recognizes this. But with this court it's anyone's guess.
