It's amazing that in March I conceded that Trump was just handed a layup to re-election. It blows my mind that he blew this and seemed to do every counter-logical thing possible to manage this pandemic. I've never seen such willful incompetence.
But then I realized this pandemic was the perfect catalyst to expose every flaw this man possesses, which of course are hundreds if not thousands.
Which really sucks for us.
So the question that historians may ask, was COVID 19 a blessing in disguise? It's a horrific question to ask, but there's another question that might be even more important:
Would, and if so, how much more damage would Trump do/have done in a second term relative to the current and projected future damage of the pandemic?
I honestly could imagine that America would have been in worse shape with 2 terms of Trump than an uncontrolled raging deadly viral pandemic and one Trump term.
I'm sure Alt-Earthers there can tell me since "the pandemic is totally under control"
