Linux Mint (with Cinnamon) is the way to go.

A local version of Microsoft Office is still the best (I bought a grey market code for Office 2019, then after less than a year Windows 10 started telling me my copy was illegitimate, so I downloaded a crack). I need to play more with Virtual Machines in Linux. Maybe I can operate my Office 2019 within a VM when LibreOffice doesn't cut it?
