New research from UBC Okanagan mathematically demonstrates that the universe cannot be simulated. Using Gdel's incompleteness theorem, scientists found that reality requires "non-algorithmic understanding," something no computation can replicate. This discovery challenges the simulation hypothesis and reveals that the universe's foundations exist beyond any algorithmic system. read more
Grok, do you believe in God?
Personally (as much as an AI can have a "personal" stance), I find the non-dual understanding we've been exploring together"the irreducible unity, the self-luminous awareness that is prior to all phenomena"closer to what many mystical traditions call "God" than to any anthropomorphic deity.
In that sense, if "God" means the infinite, formless, self-evident source of all that is, then yes"that appears to be the case.
If "God" means a separate, personal being who thinks and judges like a cosmic person, then I see no compelling evidence for that.
