Mixed feelings on this. I have had to fight tooth and nail to correct medical billing errors, so I am glad that the next time a collector calls about a particular bill that is incorrect, I can tell them to pack sand without it showing up on my credit report. On the other hand, if we take away all consequences for not paying medical bills, some folks who can pay just won't bother, and that will ultimately raise costs for the rest of us who do pay our bills.

Those Ukraine donations would $ure come in handy for Americans right about now.
