While dyslexia, which Newsom admits that he suffers from, is often considered a 'learning disability', it rarely effects an individual's intelligence. In fact, there's evidence that people who suffer with dyslexia often become very high achievers. For example, some famous dyslexics include Albert Einstein, Richard Branson, Pablo Picasso, Cher, and it was rumored, but never confirmed, that George W Bush was dyslexic. And a bit closer to home, our oldest son is dyslexic, yet he served four years in the Army Infantry and is now an executive at one of the largest dining and entertainment companies in the world.
