Mark Joseph Stern: U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services declared flatly that the children of immigrants who are "unlawfully present" will "no longer be U.S. citizens at birth." They will, instead, inherit the status of their parents, rendering them detainable and deportable as infants and throughout their lives. No, it's not.
I live near D.C., if crime was not very obviously down compared to the 90s I'd be agreeing with you.
You can't just hide behind uncertainty and build policy around unknowns, which is what you do with mail in ballots.
There's no reasonable basis for the President to invoke emergency powers to crack down on crime in Washington D.C., because there's no such crime wave causing any emergency.
The President doesn't even have statistics to support his claim.
How does merely casting doubt on the official numbers get you to agree there is an emergency?
