So you ___holes don't think illness is a reasonable excuse for postponing a flight?

I just got video of 3 of the 5 chief meteorologists in Dallas talking about flash floods.

You're right. This was more of a local level Republican failure than a Federal level Republican failure.

They deserve everything they get.

You'll forget all about it in a few days.

If the Texas flooding had happened in a blue state, much of CONservative Christianity would have said it's God's will for their liberal sins. But it's crickets when it happens to Republicans.

Trouble is, most of the closures won't happen until 2027 and beyond.

The weather service has to accommodate all whether they use a cell phone and the Internet or not.

Onenut thinks since he has great phone/internet service in SF, so does everyone across the US.

Strategy for what? Since when does someone like you give a ---- about hurting anyone's feelings on an anonymous website? Frankly, I have no empathy for you MAGAts anymore. I'm just pushing back some of the same crap that you COnny clowns have been throwing for years.

Was all of that really the fault of the Presidents? Or did you just make a lot of ------ financial decisions over the years? I'd guess maybe both, but mostly the later.

Trump is making BIG bank, and we're not likely to ever have a fair election again. Other than to stroke his ego, why would Trump care about the polls?

BellRinger's whataboutism aside, tax exempt status should be stripped from ALL organized religion, no matter who they side with ideologically.
My point remains that they should be taxed just like the entertainment industry, or any other for-profit endeavor. If organized religion is genuinely doing any good works, they can write those expenses off against their revenues.
And just to be clear, I feel the same way about most large NFP's.

I did quite a bit of farm work when I was in my teens and early twenties (a long time ago). It might be kinda fun to watch an insurance agent attempt to do that work, even for an hour.

It's too bad that all of the food designated for USAID ended up rotting...

I agree. Perhaps it was too soon for such sarcasm.

If the US Government can't tax churches, shouldn't the same apply to ANY form of commercial entertainment? I mean, isn't that all organized religion really is... show business?

Fishpaw got something correct. Although, I suspect he doesn't understand that property taxes are often controlled at the county level. Even in conservative counties.

Honestly, I'm finding many of these comments from liberals disturbing.
If we let our compassion die, then we'll be no better than they are.

The ICE budget was increased enough in the Big Fascist Bill to do just that.

They just made ICE one of the worlds 12 largest militaries.

All of Trumps indictments came from Grand Juries. If you really believe Biden had so much power that he could manipulate a Grand Jury, you're mentally ill. Seek help.
I bet you're also just fine with Laura Loomer saying sick crap like: "Alligator lives matter. The good news is, alligators are guaranteed at least 65 million meals if we get started now."
