I'm not a Democrat. But I side with them on many issues. Gun confiscation is not one of those issues. I've been advocating all along for liberals/Democrats to arm themselves. Else the impending civil war will roll right over them.

I've said many times, even here, that I keep guns to protect myself from the NRA. I was not kidding. If the MAGA Gravy Seals show up at my door, I will not go peacefully.

There are many liberals like me. But probably not nearly enough.

F1 is really a sport for the VERY wealthy. Most people can't even afford to be in Las Vegas when the race is in town. It makes the cab drivers furious. The track screws up traffic for weeks.

Honestly, in these times, I thought that was fair advise. ...But having already had a few death threats, I fully expect this to end up a shooting conflict before it's through. I don't necessarily expect to win. But I'm gonna take some of them with me if they show up at my door.

I've said this here before. Trump policy is really only hurting the US. The rest of the world is discovering it can live with out us.

That's what will happen to them at my house if they show up with in masks, without a warrant and reasonable identification. Isn't that what the NRA has been training us to do for decades?

I listened to an intriguing conversation on NPR the other day, about the possibility that AI might be able to translate the language of other sentient animals.

AI can be both fascinating and frightening. I suppose it will all depend on who is programming and using it. Unfortunately, human nature almost guarantees a bad outcome.

I don't subscribe to Bloomberg. But it takes no deep thought to understand that Trump has never cared about helping Ukraine. Every move Trump makes regarding this issue is to help Putin and Trump. It should be painfully obvious by now that Donald Trump has been a Russian asset for decades.

My bet is that they will be used at protests as props, to arrest 'protestors' they've planted to vandalize the trucks. Then they can escalate the situation, much as they did during the BLM demonstrations.
