Trans Runner Qualifies For Olympics

Nikki Hiltz, a non-binary trans middle distance runner, set a new US Olympics Trials record in the women's 1,500-meter of 3:55.33, beating the old record by 2 and half minutes, en route to qualifying for the Summer Olympics that will be held later this month in Paris. Hiltz said "This is bigger than just me". They went on to say that they "wanted to run this one for my community. All the LGBTQ folks."
