Musk lost billions after insulting Carlos Slim on X

On January 22, Elon Musk reacted with an emoji to a post on his social network X where businessman Carlos Slim was accused without evidence of having links to drug trafficking. 5 minutes later, Slim canceled a $22 billion deal with Starlink for 25 countries in Latin America.

Not sure if this getting any coverage in the U.S., but it's a pretty big story. This will give even more leverage to the Chinese in LatAm, but it could also be an opportunity for Europe.

Too bad it's not slim pickens for Musk after this. That'd warm my heart up quite nicely.
