Palestine a Lab? How Israel Markets Occupation Tech Globally

Israel's military industrial complex uses the occupied, Palestinian territories as a testing ground for weaponry and surveillance technology that they then export around the world to despots and democracies. For more than 50 years, occupation of the West Bank and Gaza has given the Israeli state invaluable experience in controlling an "enemy" population, the Palestinians. It's here that they have perfected the architecture of control. Best-selling journalist Antony Loewenstein, author of Disaster Capitalism, uncovers this largely hidden world in a global investigation with secret documents, revealing interviews and on-the-ground reporting. This book shows in-depth, for the first time, how Palestine has become the perfect laboratory for the Israeli military-techno complex: surveillance, home demolitions, indefinite incarceration and brutality to the hi-tech tools that drive the 'Start-up Nation'.

Hi DBT2. This looks like a well-researched book. Israel has been exporting their security experience gained in Gaza and the West Bank for some time now, greatly benefitting the citizens of their economy. Israeli GDP per capita is $52,642.40. That means an average Israeli citizen makes more per year than the average citizen of the UK, France, or Japan. Israel's social security system is ranked B+ (the US is graded C+) and they have universal healthcare for all residents. Israeli hi-tech military helped Azerbaijan against Armenia in their recent war over Nagorno-Karabakh and some of the Arab Gulf States contract with Israeli security company Black Cube. At the UN General Assembly, when a country does not vote against Israel, you will see a security contract or agreement behind the decision. The first link below will take you to 200 Israeli security companies ready to do business.
