Foreign Journalists at US-backed Media Fear Being Sent to Repressive Homelands After Trump's Cuts

The Associated Press writes about the fear foreign journalists are feeling after Trump made cuts to the government-run U.S. Agency for Global Media. Some came to the United States after reporting on their own governments repressive behavior.

Reporters and human rights groups say the Trump administration's efforts to dismantle the U.S. Agency for Global Media have put dozens of journalists at risk, especially those who defied authoritarian regimes to help fulfill the U.S. mission of delivering uncensored news.

Trump scores another win for Fascist dictators......is he trying to tell us something many of us have already guessed? Has he ever met a dictator he didn't like? Do you other Republicans who post here share his love for dictators and dictatorships?

You know, what happens in these tinpot countries is not my problem. If you want to charity up on their traitors, go ahead, but not with my money please.

Ah, a morals-free life.

Let's let an educated conservative person speak to you... you know, as a last resort.

A feature of your liberal mind virus is displaced affections. You place a higher priority of care for distant objects, where the rightful priority is to focus care closely first. Fix your homeland before concerning yourself with happenings in foreign lands, which are rightfully none of your business in the first place. Any money spent on helping others should first be spent on helping Americans. When all Americans have healthcare housing and food security, then cry to me about senor expatriate who needs his needs met. and then I'll say again- do it with your own money, not mine.

Mind-numbingly stupid, toxic rant on the value of selfishness.

As expected.

When all Americans have healthcare housing and food security,

Republican politicians don't want that.

Besides, what would have US do, aside from gifting a freeride to senor dissident? Bomb his awful country? Instigate a bloody coup? Somehow interfere with what's happening there, and replace it with 'values' that have failed the test at home? Families broken, men emasculated, boys neutered, women gone wild, people pooping in the street?

Ah, a morals-free life.

the 'morals' is taking care of your own first.

"the 'morals' is taking care of your own first."

Then don't call yourself Christian.

The dictum includes the salient phrase As Thyself.

Not Less Than.

You are obviously no David Brooks. So forget my suggestion that you view his little talk on cultural renewal... it's also obviously way over your head; I mean, I wouldn't want you spending all day looking up words and concepts you've never previously encountered.

Turns out you are basically Shrimpdick or Boaz, but with a high school diploma.

Prolly forged, though.

Did you file a report with police?

Sorry, I was being generous.

Brooks does use some high dollar words, though, so feel free to look them up... because I know you are going to listen to his talk.... rofl.
