... Those perks were the result of close trade relations between the world's two largest economies and now threaten a perfect storm for young consumers already under the stress of inflation and new entering financial independence.

For Republicans -- who just enjoyed their best performance with young voters in a generation -- the trade war is poised to reverse gains with a demographic that could be key to maintaining control of Congress in the midterm elections.

@#4 ... If you are 26 and still a college student - you already f'ed up in life. ...

Why?

Of course, you won't understand this. College is meant to take 4 years. The dipshit in the story is going on 8 years. In another 2, we will be hearing from this moron complaining about repaying student loans.

#6 | Posted by ScottS at 2025-05-03 09:38 PM

@#6 ... Of course, you won't understand this ...

So your current trolling alias starts off with an ad hominem comment against me.

... College is meant to take 4 years. ...

Yup, the Bachelor Degree is usually (but not always) given four years after the start.

... The dipshit in the story is going on 8 years. ...

When did the person in the story start college? At what age?

#7 | Posted by LampLighter at 2025-05-03 09:53 PM

@#6

... and most importantly ...

WTF is it a concern of your current alias how long someone takes to earn a college degree?

I mean, your current alias sinks to that low level in order to troll here?

Do try harder.

The dipshit in the story is going on 8 years.

You idiots don't understand higher education.

PhDs and MDs take years beyond a masters degree.

2 years associate degree

4 years bachelor degree

6 years masters

8 years phd

10 years md

@#9 ... PhDs and MDs take years beyond a masters degree. ...

I do not disagree with that.

Which is why is ask of that trolling alias what I asked in #8.

Of course, you won't understand this ...

So your current trolling alias starts off with an ad hominem comment against me.

This isn't an ad hominem attack, its an observation from your previous posts, which you clearly stated, you didn't understand.

I took forever in undergrad and grad school.

It's not a race.

It is, thats how I felt time was important. Its a race to not owe too much money at the end.

@#13 ... This isn't an ad hominem attack, its an observation from your previous posts, ...

@#14 ... It is, thats how I felt time was important. Its a race to not owe too much money at the end. ...

Now, the current trolling alias is apparently changing the judgment criteria midstream.

So lame.

And then there's this ...

... thats how I felt time was important ...

So the current trolling alias I am replying to seems to take ownership of the #6 comment I was replying to?

Interesting.

And, your current trolling alias has apparently just discovered that, and brings it up as relevant now, why?
