House Democrat Forces Vote on Impeaching Trump

Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-Mich.) on Tuesday started the clock for the House to vote on his seven articles of impeachment against President Trump.

Thanedar's 29-page impeachment resolution accuses Trump of a litany of offenses, including obstruction of justice, abuse of power, corruption and "tyranny."

Many of the charges relate to Trump's consolidation of power through DOGE, as well as his personal finances and emoluments.

Comments

"Thanedar told Axios in a brief interview at the Capitol that there is "some communication" with Democratic leadership, but, "I didn't seek permission, I just communicated."

Asked about his Democratic colleagues' anger towards his efforts, Thanedar said Trump "has conducted unconstitutional activities. He has conducted impeachable offenses, and I had to do my constitutional duty."

I wonder if AIPAC approved of Rep. Shri Thanedar's (D-MI) impeachment motion against the Dotard. I doubt India PM Narendra Modi would have approved this.
