Per CIA, English is the official language of Gambia which has a population of 2,523,327 people, evenly split between male and female. There are several tribes, but the people are mostly Muslim (96.4%) with a small Christian minority of 3.5%. GDP per capita is $2,900 and 21% of Gambians paid a bribe to a public official in the past twelve months: transparency.org

The well-to-do government of Ontario recently cancelled a $100m contract with Felon Musk to install Starlink for 15,000 homes up north:
