Hamas Leader Killed on Rare Occassion Lacked Hostage Shield

Muhammad Sinwar was almost always surrounded by hostages throughout the war, as Hamas leaders realized this was a strong deterrent against Israeli assassination attempts. Israeli intelligence had long tracked Sinwar but repeatedly ruled out potential strikes on him when presented with the opportunity due to fears there were hostages in his vicinity. For unknown reasons, Sinwar decided on May 13 to meet with the commander of the Rafah Brigade in Hamas's military wing, Mohammad Shabana, as well as other senior commanders, without his usual escort of hostages.

Using civilian hostages as a shield is a proud Palestinian tradition, as seen by the conduct of Mo's late brother Yahya, who masterminded targeting 1,2000 civilian men, women, and children for rape and murder on October 7th and is sadly no longer with us spreading joy and cheer throughout the world. Which also explains why Hamas is so reluctant to free those hostages.

Six slain hostages were likely Sinwar's shields, lived for months on energy bars
The six Israeli hostages murdered in a Rafah tunnel at the end of August were likely human shields for Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and survived for months on energy bars until they were finally executed, too weak to be moved with the terror chief, a TV report said on Saturday.

The Channel 12 investigation shed light on why Sinwar, long believed to have surrounded himself with a group of hostages as human shields, left the tunnels of Rafah, and was without any captives around him when he was killed by the IDF on Wednesday. It also provided new details on the last months, weeks, and days of some of the most high-profile Israeli hostages.

These hostages would be Israelis that the Palestinians kidnapped on October 7th (ones that escaped being murdered in cold blood that day, no news about how they fared on the Palestinian rapes).

So I guess the question to you would be:

"So your sad more [Jewish kids] didn't get murdered [by Palestinians]? Although some of them ultimately did once they were unable to fulfill their purpose of being human shields for the war criminals."

IDF 'hero' using Palestinian child as human shield.

  • At least 38 Palestinians were murdered and 204 others were wounded in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocide. The Palestinian death toll from the IDF onslaught since 7 Oct 2023 has risen to 53,939 fatalities, with an additional 122,797 people injured or maimed. The majority of the victims are women and children.
  • In March, the Trumpf junta expedited a four billion dollar transfer of American taxpayer funds to Israel for military assistance.
  • An international arrest warrant issued by the ICC remains active for Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. The charges:
Allegedly responsible for the war crimes of starvation as a method of warfare and of intentionally directing an attack against the civilian population; and the crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts from at least 8 October 2023 until at least 20 May 2024.

An indictment is merely an allegation. Benjamin Netanyahu is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

    More Hamas-BS lies.

You pro-Hamasers like post random images out of context, making up a story, and expecting no one to call you on your garbage, don't you?

No one was being held hostage there. That soldier was surrounded by civilians and reporters.

As seen in the video at www.theguardian.com @4:39, the kid was being placed under arrest for throwing stones with a sling like the rest of that crowd in the video. An act that is a crime and could easily kill someone.

If you don't think that's an arrestable offense you should try doing the same at your local madrasah/refugee center and see where that gets you.

Oh, and a group of girls pulled that kid from the soldier's arms @6:35 in this video: www.youtube.com

    Worst "hostage-taking," ever. LOL!

    "throwing stones with a sling"

    How very Biblical.
It's just like you to not get the reference.

"Muhammad Sinwar was almost always surrounded by hostages throughout the war, as Hamas leaders realized this was a strong deterrent against Israeli assassination attempts. "

    Strong deterrent?

Hannibal tells us a different story.

    You must think we're dumb.

    C0RI0LANUS,

Those girls gave that soldier quite a beatdown. And yet he didn't fire a single bullet.

You guys really like exercising that White Privilege Palestinian Privilege, don't you.

Wonder what would happen to them in the rest of the Arab world if they gave that a try.

"Wonder what would happen to them in the rest of the Arab world if they gave that a try."

They're already in the Arab world, so that's kind of a pointless question.

Censored is not allowed to even say the word "Israel."
He is not permitted to say the word "IDF."
And is is absolutely verboten for Censored to say "Yigal Amir," "Baruch Goldstein," and "Eretz Yisrael."

You'll only ever get one side of the discussion from Censored.
Ironically, is the side of Baruch Goldstein, Yigal Amir, and Eretz Yisrael.

LOL! Kid was being arrested for assaulting a soldier, which two seconds of searching found.

What'd you expect them to do? Give him a participation trophy? No wonder you guys keep thinking losing wars entitles you to take land.

    "IDF heroism"

There's about fifty burned out (or burned out and flattened) cars in the picture.
Hamas does not possess that capability. IDF did this to the Oct 7 concert goers.
    electronicintifada.net

And for contrast, this article has pictures of cars hit by Hamas.
You can see the cars were hit with small arms fire; they weren't burned down to bare metal with high explosives like the cars hit by IDF.
    www.jpost.com

"Casualties fell as a result of friendly fire on October 7, but the IDF [Israeli military] believes that ... it would not be morally sound to investigate"

Well there you go. It's not morally sound to investigate IDF killing Civilians.

"No wonder you guys keep thinking losing wars entitles you to take land."

You think winning wars entitles you to take land, which is exactly what Putin thinks in the Donbass.

But back to the subject at hand, despite the pro-Hamas deflection attempts: Palestinians using innocents to shield terrorists.

Doesn't seem to be working out so well, does it C0RI0LANUS?

    Strategery

    #15 | Posted by censored at 2025-05-25 02:50 PM

    #14: Yup:

"It is the first known official army admission that a significant number of the hundreds of Israelis who died on 7 October were killed by Israel itself, and not by Hamas or other Palestinian resistance factions."

Sidebar: Jews suffered under Dr. Josef Mengele during the Holocaust, but Israel produces their own medical murderers: Sabo Amos and Baruch Goldstein. The irony is rich.

An international arrest warrant issued by the ICC remains active for Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. An indictment is merely an allegation. Benjamin Netanyahu is presumed innocent until proven guilty at the Hague.

"Palestinians using innocents to shield terrorists. Doesn't seem to be working out so well"

It doesn't work because IDF just kills the civilians, is that the takeaway here?

It's amazing that those who love Hamas th3 most would be among the first to be tortured and killed under Hamas rule.
