The Court's Disastrous Ruling in the Third-Country Removal Case

Georgetown University law professor Steve Vladeck: The majority did not just greenlight an especially odious immigration policy without any explanation; it did so in a case in which the government defied the district court--twice--with no consequence.

There's a lot going on, and it seems like every week, #SCOTUS grants another Trump emergency application.

But last night's ruling in the third-country removal case stands out as especially problematic--not just for what it greenlights, but for the defiance of lower courts it necessarily condones:[image or embed]

Keep them coming. It provides endless entertainment to watch a group of people who don't follow laws demonizing another group of people for not following laws. And then watching them try to explain their hypocrisy by denying it makes it even more entertaining. If there are aliens watching us, I'm sure they absolutely love to watch 21st century liberals so they can get their laughs. Reps may be why aliens don't want to land here but Dems are definitely their favorite reality show and why they know there is very little intelligent life on this planet.

"It provides endless entertainment to watch a group of people who don't follow laws demonizing another group of people for not following laws."

One "group of people" is the United States Government.

And your reaction to the government breaking the law is, "Well, criminals do it too!"

This ruling is disastrous.....

For libs and their pro illegal immigrant stances

It's disastrous for anyone who believes in innocent until proven guilty.

And if you're saying it's only the libs who believe in innocent until proven guilty, hey, I believe you.

Justice no longer exists in the US. The Supreme Court is a partisan bought and paid for corrupt institution.

"Justice no longer exists in the US."

Sure it does. We have the best Justice money can buy.
