He was there doing some research in macroeconomic theory about crowd behavior, or something like that. Anyway, it was a day of love, right, so what's the problem? He was just looking for love. And he was just walking to someone's office, and didn't notice the crowd when he took a short cut. All those excuses, rolled up into one. Nothing to see here...
