Canada Issues New Travel Warning for Visiting US

The Government of Canada warns:

  • The rate of firearm possession in the US is high and in many states citizens openly carry firearms in public. Incidences of mass shootings occur, resulting most often in casualties. Although tourists are rarely involved, there is a risk of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Familiarize yourself on how to respond to an active shooter situation.
  • There is a threat of terrorism which could occur at any time. Targets could include: government buildings, including schools, places of worship, airports, and other transportation hubs and networks, tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping centers, markets, and hotels. Always be aware of your surroundings when in public places.
  • Passports with an "X" gender identifier does guarantee your entry or transit through the US or other countries. You may still be asked to provide your sex/gender information as either male or female when travelling.

    Canada is advising its citizens that traveling to the US will be like visiting a dangerous Third World country. Below, transgender contestant Jenna Talackova competed in the Miss Universe Canada competition in Toronto, 18 May 2012. She would face difficulties entering the US thanks to Dummkopf Trumpf, Empty Suit Marco Rubio, and DHS. But after Trumpf sees the resemblance to Ivanka, he may grant Jenna an exception.

    The idea of attending any of the World Cup Games in the US, let alone the LA Olympics, with Tom "Gimme a Bagga Cash" Homan's masked and armed goons on patrol, looking to grab and grope anyone who isn't "white" is a prospect many international tourists will doubtless consider before deciding where to go.

    The timing is right. Canadians start streaming South across the border to U.S. warmer climes along about Thanksgiving. Big mistake while Trump's gestapo is free ranging violence from sea to shining sea, as the song goes. America isn't safe anymore. Not for us and our families and certainly not for foreign tourists.

    Canada is telling it like it is. The risk is high. Better to be smart and be safe.

    A friend of mine in Canada skipped a cruise simply because the ship was departing from NYC and he didn't want to spend a second or a shekel in Amerikkka.

    It might be a good idea for Canadians to fly around anyway. Trump/Miller may eventually be unhinged enough to fire on a Canadian airliner.

    My wife and I volunteered for 8 winters at Kofa National Wildlife Refuge in western Arizona, starting in 2014. We met a lot of Canadians there, including a couple from Calgary in our 2nd year. We became fast friends and saw them every winter, getting passes so they could ride with us in government vehicles and see parts of the refuge most people never get to see. (It's almost the size of Rhode Island and incredibly rough driving). We left the volunteer gig in 2022 when we started building a house in the mountains in SW Arizona. They came and visited us at our home this spring after one last visit to the US and Kofa, stating they weren't coming back. I told them I didn't blame them, as we would be doing the same thing were the shoe on the other foot. It was a sad parting.

    These ladies are starting on their 2nd do it yourself home/property build in Canada... at a former 65 acre Russian survivalist training camp. Their first one was great, too, completely off-grid, but they got stalked and have left it.
