Lewzer orders prison release of disgraced George Santos

US President Donald Trump has commuted the sentence of George Santos, a former Republican congressman serving seven years in prison for fraud and identify theft, ordering his immediate release. In a post on social media, Trump said Santos "has been horribly mistreated", adding: "Therefore, I just signed a Commutation, releasing George Santos from prison, IMMEDIATELY. Good luck George, have a great life!"

He only commuted the sentence. Kept the felonies on his record so he wouldn't be able to run for office anymore..

"He only commuted the sentence. Kept the felonies on his record so he wouldn't be able to run for office anymore.."

Felonies don't preclude running for federal office.

Just ask the Melon Felon.

The most interesting about Trump springing George Santos from prison is that Trump is still in the Epstein Files.
