ICE needs to be disbanded. It's a lot more trouble than it's worth.

"ICE needs to be disbanded. It's a lot more trouble than it's worth."

You don't actually believe that disbanding ICE will solve the issue of the surveillance state dystopia, nor any of the issues of excess or abuse in government agencies which people have been concerned about since the Patriot Acts, and even longer. You're just mindlessly repeating a meme that's been fed to you by the algorithm.

It's my curse never to be mindless.

Disbanding ICE would be a good start towards a lot of good things.

Technologies purchased by ICE in recent weeks include an iris-scanning app that agents plan to use in the field, Israeli spyware that can hack into smartphones remotely, and cellphone location software that can enable the tracking of a phone's movements without a court warrant.

Next year there will be an army of ICE Sturmabteilung warrantlessly connecting the dots in their migrant dragnets that will inadvertently pick up information on US citizens who may be committing crimes (i.e. drug dealing, selling firearms) which will be used against them. ICE will alert their federal colleagues at DEA or ATF or hand the info as "leads" for local authorities to investigate.
