Maga Mike is trapped between a rock and a hard place.

He cannot bring the House back into session but he will have to bring the house back into session.

Question: will the House have to pass another CR bill. does it expire?

AI Overview

+4
Yes, the House will have to pass another CR bill because the previous one expired, and a government shutdown is underway. A new bill is needed to provide funding for federal agencies, as a government shutdown occurs when there is no funding measure in place. The expired CR would have extended funding through November 21, but was not passed by the Senate.
