President Trump's nominee for a top post at the U.S. Export-Import (EXIM) Bank withdrew his nomination this week amid scrutiny over his ties to Russia.

The Trump administration's nominee for a top federal position has withdrawn his candidacy amid scrutiny of his role at a business co-owned by one of Russia's richest oligarchs, and his relations by marriage to a Russian family with ties to the Kremlin.

The surprising thing is that this particular opportunity for Republican Party corruption in alliance with the Russian super wealth was stopped. Who on earth this guy was a good candidate for that post?
